This is a picture of me after graduation that I decided to manipulate a little with Photoshop. I made the background black and white to keep it from being too distracting. I then made the text the same color as part of my hair to draw it all together. The reason for the quote was because I was the only person in my graduating class going to Towson, so I was making the journey alone. My favorite part of this picture is the lighting. I also enjoy the fact that I am looking away; showing that I am moving forward and never looking back.

This was a piece I did for a self-portrait in Digital Tools and Concepts. The project was a self-portrait. The reason for the crayons was because I love coloring, and they are all the colors of the rainbow because I am part of the LGBT community (cliche, I know). The object in the middle is a neuron; the reason for this is because I have a nerve disorder which is obviously a huge part of my everyday life. The word "strength" is repeated three times, this was actually cropped from a heart-shaped stone that my Mom gave to me while I was in the hospital and I now carry it with me everywhere I go. My hand is in the background because I love doing things with my hands. And the bright lines on the sides is actually my hair with a glow effect.
